Sailing vessels on the same course, going the same direction? The one being overtaken would have the right-of-way, I would assume.

Approaching each other it's the sailboat on the starboard tack that has the right of way.

I remembered that one because sometimes it gets a little crazy out there on a Saturday or a Sunday.

It's also a good idea, if you are coming up behind someone, to assume that they don't know that you are there.
