Murderous neighborhoods for Chitown - South side (Englewood primarily) and the West side (i.e., the “best side” Garfield Park and Austin primarily). although there’s plenty of action throughout both the South and West sides. North side is now starting to exhibit some of the same plague as the cops go more into “fetal position” and the gang bangers are emboldened now to roam all over. Bad, and getting worse. Don’t worry though, Obama was going to fix it all, remember?
Don’t forget Roseland on the Far South Side and Humboldt Park - both are high crime areas - lots of gangs. I drove on 99th from Western to the i-57 ramp near Halsted last week - the area looked like a war zone. I was ready to run a red light to get out of there.
