Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett won't be the only one to remain seated during the playing of the national anthem this season.
Bennett, who sat alone in protest of racial and social injustices during the team's preseason opener against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, received many comments on Twitter that fans will be joining him in his protest this season.

What is it exactly that they expect to accomplish? Nobody states any goals, they just want to say the US is horrible. What morons. Blacks in the US live 100% better than blacks in Africa. As one black musician said after visiting Africa, “Man, I sure am glad my folks caught the boat.”

The left would have a cow. My sister-in-law was at a restaurant the other day and they had ESPN on the TV. All they were talking about was what happened at Charlottesville and all that other crap. Sports was supposed to be entertainment and an escape from the troubles of the day.
I forgot. Wear jerseys from the opposing team. That way it won’t look like a race riot.
The ratings for Dallas Cowboy games helped salvage the NFL season.

You are so right. There are people who travel thousands of miles and jump through lots of hoops to become American citizens who probably LOVE to sing the National Anthem, as a citizen of the greatest country on the planet.
