Six Flags Over Texas has flown the Confederate States of America flag since the park opened in 1961, and that is not going to change despite growing pressure around the country following the violence in Charlottesville.
The "Stars and bars" was the first official flag of the confederacy. It flies alongside the American flag near the entrance to the park.

If we don't tell anyone, the idiots won't know what this flag represents.
The parks further states, "Six Flags Over Texas continues to fly the Confederate States of America Flag and does not fly or sell any variation of the Confederate Battle Flag," Parker said. IOW, they're playing both sides and don't want to change their name to "Five Flags Over Texas."
Because changing the name to Five Flags Over Texas would be too confusing.
I wish the Six Flags in NJ had this.
I’m sure the “minorities” will boycott the park, thus fewer thug line cutters, and overall degenerates milling about causing trouble....
“Growing pressure” = flavor of the week ‘cause’ from the media.
It is easy to pick off non-patriots because they are illiterate...a direct result of liberalism being taught in our schools...not history of the USA or civics, or math, or anything that even comes close to being educated, or put food on the table.
Good for Six Flags Over Texas, they understand what being an American is all about.
Holy Toledo, 6 Flags in Maryland is overrun with thugs. It’s a ghetto theme park. It draws in many gang types.
I have friends in Washington DC are who won’t go to this theme park near them. Instead they take s longer drive to Kings Dominion or Busch Gardens in Virginia, where at least they feel safer with their kids.
Good!If you don’t like it ,don’t go!
I have had one of those flying at my house and no one is offended because no one knows what it is.
Last time I was in King’s Dominion it was like being in South Africa.
Kings Dominion is equally overrun with thugs. I won’t go there anymore. Busch Gardens is getting there.
This is a rendition of the first national confederate flag. The one most commonly despised(stars and bars) is the 2nd Confederate Navy Jack. (I think I got that right)
Really? Kings Dominion has gone down hill too?
Jeez. It’s disheartening to go somewhere especially with children, and seeing critical numbers of feral people, cutting in line, dropping f bombs around little kids, starting gang fights........,..
I hate to ask, who is paying for these feral youth to go to these expensive theme parks. These youth are allegedly poor so how can they afford to go?
Then I wonder, what does the management of these parks think of being inundated by so many feral people; are they concerned that ordinary families will be scared off? Or is the management liberal and afraid to broach that subject for fear of being called racists??
I have no idea where they get the money.
They all have smart phones and expensive sneakers, too.
I wear shoes from Walmart and use a Nokia 3585 that is 18 years old.
Battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia
yes I have a 17 yr old girl in my life, and SHE won’t drive to 6 flags, makes the trip to KD which adds an hour from her house. smart kid!
LOL! Lookin’ at all the available flags from, that time frame, it’s hard to keep them all straight.
I want all of the left-tards, Dem politicians and Muslim extremists to know that if I’m killed because of their actions, or inactions, I will come back and haunt everyone of the sons-a-bitches.
It’s the “Stars and Bars” flag, which IIRC was not the original name of the St. Andrew’s Cross battle flag.
The current Georgia state flag is similar to the Stars and Bars and no one has a clue.
The 1956 Georgia flag was the battle flag juxtaposed with the state seal. When the flag was partially rolled up, the seal disappeared & it became the battle flag.
