At the intersection where protections against unreasonable search and seizure meet the rights to free speech and association, there is now a web hosting company called DreamHost.
The California-based company is resisting a Department of Justice warrant that demands it hand over all files related to DisruptJ20.org, a website created by one of its customers to plan and announce actions intended to interrupt President Trump's inauguration.

Inauguration Day protests in Washington, D.C., turned violent; 230 people were arrested and charged with felony rioting.
In gathering evidence for the nearly 200 still-open cases in D.C. court, the Justice Department issued a warrant that DreamHost says is so broad it would require handing over the logs of 1.3 million visits to the website.

So why is it ok for the DOJ to go after other companies under Democrat presidents for all of their emails in blanket warrants?
My guess it is proof of the conspiracy to pit the two groups against each other for political gain they are after and where it really came from.
It is obvious there was one, with paid protestors, caged in group surrounded by the other then forced out into that other group in basically a narrow shoot, once the stand down and disperse order came in....who demanded the police set that up that way and who ordered them to stand down.
This was a psyop....I am only surprised they are even trying to go after it.
Exactly!
The house of the CEO of said company would be burned down!
I think the DOJ also wants to see the site contents that were viewed by these 1.3 million users.
That could somewhat multiply the number of log entries.
If I understand your post correctly, you’re saying that the DOJ did the same under Obama.
I would agree with the following exception.
In this case, the warrant is pursuant to actual ongoing criminal prosecutions.
In Obama’s case, the DOJ was on limitless fishing expeditions.
No one said draining the swamp was going to be easy.
PING!!!

Patriot Act provisions regarding a terrorist organization apply?
That would presume that DOJ considers antifa to be terrorist organization.
I like it!
But I fear I’m being too hopeful about the DOJ...
Or maybe you have some better info on this that I don’t know?
The answer to that is simple.
McAuliffe
a little obstruction of justice?
You're welcome, and thank you for remembering!
I have this picture on display in my office. People love it.
Well of course!
What else do you expect the MSM creation of antifa to do?
That’s straightforward!
I will always remember that episode, and the posts that you made to help us get through it!
That is very kind of you to say.
On the other hand, if there is ever a disease outbreak and I start posting worrisome posts... there might be reason for concern.
