I've been to Madison 20 to 25 times. Worked for a corporation with headquarters there. In a business situation, I was probably dealing with some of the more conservative citizens of the area.
But I consider anyone who tows the PC line and believes it to be a fool, whether they are leaders or followers because PCness is system where we might say many questions cannot be answered, when in reality it's not even permissible to ask them.
PCness requires that its adherents ignore so much of reality that it can only bring a deterioration and maybe even eventual failure of any nation that pursues it for long.
And PCness is absolutely necessary to continue moving the USA toward socialism. I don't know if it can be turned around or not, but I believe we are definitely in the last decade or two where there is a chance to turn it around.
