This is the best article I’ve read on this. Greenfield is brilliant, as usual.

The big questions are 1) WHY do a core cadre of leftists WANT communism / totalitarianism when it has failed everywhere, 2) HOW such a small part of the population has gained such outsized control against normal people (the usual hangers-on and useful idiots of all stripes are enabling this leftist takeover), and 3) how in the world can this be stopped?

We are doomed unless people are once again put in power who want to preserve the Union, people like the judge and jury who found anarchists Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti guilty and executed then seven years after conviction (both men adhered to an anarchist movement that advocated relentless warfare against a violent and oppressive government); people like Atty General Alexander Palmer who deported anarchists; FBI Directors like Hoover; and Senators like Joe McCarthy and Representatives like Richard Nixon who vigorously fought communism in Congress.

Our current AG is standing idly by and watching the coming apart of America on his watch.

Answer: Because they are nihilists who lust for power and do not care about the future. They know "everybody gotta die! Might as well be in charge!"

Answer: It ALWAYS happens this way in communist revolutions

and 3) how in the world can this be stopped?

Answer: Very difficult. We no longer have a militia, and the States are overseen by the feds. The only way is to resist by making them come house to house. However, it will most likely be like Germany, where Hitler took the guns first, then slowly tightened the noose.
