Yeah! What a cheapskate hardscrabble 18 year old Alberta farmer in 1951. Buying his bride-to-be a measly one karat engagement ring. The nerve of that guy! He should have slaughtered a couple more cows and sold some acreage to afford a nice engagement ring.
