>>>even though it was a Nazi sympathizer who caused all of the casualties<<<

Well, there you go.

It was the Mentally Ill Kid in the Challenger, and we know nothing of his intent if he even had one.

How did he kill the state troopers? Why is anyone making the point to condemn only Nazis and not communists? And how does this concern the military? This is bizarre. Is that much of our society this addled by the left?

When in the military, everyone is under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Let me give you an example of military Justice:

If a fight breaks out and two military members are involved both go to Courts Martial or Mast or a Hearing. Both are judged. One of the party may be judged more severely, in that he or she might have started the altercation but both are charged with (for example) Conduct Unbecoming or other such articles of the UCMJ. That is Military Justice. It is not a case of - this person started it and I finished it, or I intervened etc... it is a matter in which both parties were involved when neither party should have been involved. The decision to charge both (or all) parties involved is quite simply for the sake of good order and discipline. And all concerned are dealt with appropriately. Leadership evaluations may even carry over to supervisors and department heads, in nipping any problems in at the bud, thereby ending it as expeditiously as possible and refocusing on the mission at hand (readiness included).
