Since the Washington Monument resembles the shape of an Egyptian obelisk, they can rename it the African Heritage Monument. The Jefferson Memorial can be renamed to honor either Nat Turner or Sally Hemings. Washington, D.C., can be understood to be in honor of Booker T. Washington.

I hope they don't find out about the Jefferson Davis Monument at his birthplace in Kentucky (a smaller version of the Washington Monument). Until recently the director of the Jefferson Davis Monument state park was a black man who is a retired Marine, a Berkeley graduate, a descendant of a Confederate officer, and a big admirer of Jefferson Davis.
