Very true. We don’t actually *know* that he intended to run anyone over. I remember see something a couple of days ago where someone on /pol/ actually calculated his rate of speed (using distances determined via landmarks from the videos) and found that when he was going down that street, he was going 22 mph, which is less than the posted limit (25 mph). He might well have panicked when bats started hitting his car, which many people would, frankly.
We may never know, but I think that if I put mind to it, I could’ve caused a lot more damage than he did that day.
