Members of Congress in President Donald Trump's own party were among those lawmakers quick to criticize comments the President made in a news conference that laid blamed on both sides of protesters at a rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, that turned violent over the weekend.

Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, criticized Trump on Twitter Tuesday night.
“There's no moral equivalency between racists and Americans standing up to defy hate and bigotry. ( Antifa and BLM???) The President of the United States should say so,” McCain said in a tweet.

I'll buy that.
Did people on both "sides" do it?
They know their hypocrisy, but they don’t care. It doesn’t matter how many times we point it out or say unfair. We now live in a time of universal deceit.
“In times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.” George Orwell
Is that not a fitting quote for yesterdays’ press conference? In times...is now.
when are they going to call out the hate being directed at statues dedicated to US Veterans? (Civil war soldiers are US Veterans - Public Law 810)
“GOP members of Congress criticize Trump’s comments: ‘We should never hesitate to call out hate’”
We have politicians and Big Media who refuse to criticize Antifa and BLM the same way that they criticize these "alt-right" folks.
Keep up the good work folks. We should NEVER shut until they do.
They’re emotional brats, not deep thinkers. They ignore the law of unintended consequences at their own peril.
There is plenty of video out to prove that.
The ‘wrong’ way is the liberal left way - the way of putting a rope around a statue and having a truck pull it down... which is one step worse than all the liberals thugging up against anyone who dares to disagree with them. Liberals using the power of the MSM to paint opponents as a KKK members or Nazi sympathizers ... shame on MSNBC...
That's evil - the equivalent of The Southern Jim Crow Establishment calling early Civil Rights Workers 'nigger lovers'... It's all the same crap... insider thugs using their power unfairly to win against powerless people with legitimate complaints.
NO LIBERALS you do NOT have the right to tear down history without the consent of your fellow citizens... all of us. NOT just protected democrat victim groups. Not just white liberal elite mobs. All of us. Americans. And no, you 'liberals' may not call us names because you're too vile to debate the issue....
You’re right. Just watching Ana Navarro, the so called Republican analyst, call the president a nincompoop and “unfit to be human” on CNN today just confirms that point. The whole Republican Party is just a farce. It’s been that way for decades. It took one outsider to shine the light on these people and the fraud they’ve been committing on Republican voters and the American people.

BRAVO!!
All the usual RINO suspects.
The malignant soul of traitor John McCain never misses an opportunity to betray his fellow Americans. He broke in Hanoi Hilton and betrayed his fellow soldiers. But it is hard to fault someone for caving in to torture.
However, his pattern since then is one of frequent betrayal—it’s like like he keeps reliving his captivity. When he discovered his wife had been disfigured in an accident, he divorced her. He was already having an affair with his next wife.
He has prided himself for being a Maverick who constantly undermines his own party. When he ran for president he chose a solid conservative as a running mate. Unfortunately that ended her rising political career... at least as a politician. Palin still carries a lot of influence. But McCain was just too polite to the leftwing enemy he faced, declaring Obama would make a great president. He said, Obama “is a decent person, and a person that you do not have to be scared [of] as President of the United States.”
If only he was as kind to conservatives as he is to liberals. He was a decisive vote to keep Obamacare and billions of tax dollars going to Planned Parenthood. He has declared that leadership was better under Obama than Trump.
And these are only his more recent betrayals of conservatives. I look forward to the day when John McCain has no role in American politics. I don’t care if that is by retirement or by joining his fellow liberal, beloved friend and colleague, Ted Kennedy, in the afterlife. He just needs to go.
Thanks snarky
One side had a permit to have their rally, the other side came prepared to do battle. You deliberate obfuscation of the issue is apparent.
LOL You read me wrong. I asked the question of the original obfuscator several posts previous.
Oops!
So says a known ISIS supporter...
