Leftists already trying to say this is an anti-Trump thing.
It’s not, of course.
To: 11th_VA
I really think trump knew this and wanted moore, and likely called him to say so but wanted to get points with ryan and McConnell

Trump talked Strange from 3rd place into 2nd.
But Moore would make a better “Trump” Senator.

I totally agree with you.
You’d be hard pressed to find a state more pro-Trump than Alabama.
But they just went through Big Luther letting Gov. Bentley off the hook for putting his mistress on the payroll in exchange for a senate seat.
That just doesn’t fly in Alabama.

It’ll be a run off between Moore and Strange.
I predict Moore will be AL’s next GOP Senator.

As an outsider, I confess I don’t get it.
Wasn’t Brooks a never-trumper?
And Strange is establishment gope?
Seems like Moore should be the pick.....

Here you go.
Brooks was within the MoE on 8/6 but has fallen since then (when Trump started tweeting).

NYT thinks AL is a parallel universe. *cough*
You think it matters to them who the state’s next Senator is?
