He slammed them, calling them fake news, defending what he said on Saturday (saying he didn't want to say more at the time before getting the facts -- "unlike you (journalists)" or something to that effect.
Then he said, "any questions on infrastructure?"
The media found a tragic event and is exploiting it to make him look bad. He knows it and it showed. He was visibly angry. I don't blame him.
I was too--that crowd would never have shown Obama such disrespect.
Thanks! It is remarkable to have a President who speaks to us, instead of trying to please the media all the time.
The media did not find a tragic event. They arranged it. On Fox & friends, Philly this morning. They nhad a Rabbi whose family died in the Holocaust. It was interesting. He was going to confront the White hate groups. He said it was coordinated 2 weeks prior. They were told there would be violence and to come prepared. This guy was a protestor and wanted his two minutes of Fame. Wasn’t over the top. The others took this as a call to arms and took the violence to Va. Two weeks advance notice. Really. They had the talking points out for Trump before he even knew there was an incident. Meanwhile Obama will read about this in the paper next week.
