I saw a picture of the driver and he didn’t look like the owner that was arrested.

What if he says that he doesn’t remember driving. Now they can pull out the two personality argument. I don’t know, just theorizing.

Driver was named Field, still in the military, trained in evasive driving.

Lack of memory of a crime is not an excuse.

If a person is black out drunk and they get arrested for drunk driving, he will likely still be convicted even though he does not remember.

There is a difference between dissociative identity disorder (more than one personality) and schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a thought disorder. Usually these folks are not able to mobilize themselves well enough to do much of anything, especially if they are on antipsychotics.
