9 Dead, 30 Wounded In Weekend Shootings Across Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) — Nine people were killed and at least 30 others were wounded in shootings across Chicago between Friday night and Monday morning.(snip)

Three people were killed in a Sunday evening shooting in the East Side neighborhood on the Far South Side. A 17-year-old boy, 22-year-old man and 24-year-old woman all suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body at 5:32 p.m. in the 10200 block of South Ewing and were pronounced dead at the scene,(snip)

About 11:20 a.m. Sunday, Emmanuel Fleming, 34, and 46-year-old Michael Swift were killed in a shooting in the West Side Austin neighborhood. The men were standing at 11:19 a.m. in the 200 block of South Laramie when two people walked up and fired shots(snip)

Shortly before 12:30 a.m. Sunday, 27-year-old Demica Porter was gunned down in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side. Officers responded to a call of shots fired and found her lying on the sidewalk in the 1400 block of West 54th Street. Porter, who lived in the same neighborhood, had been shot in the neck and legs and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where she died at 1:13 a.m., authorities said.

Less than an hour earlier, a 20-year-old man was fatally shot in the Old Town neighborhood. He was involved in a fight with two other males at 12:07 a.m. in the 1300 block of North Hudson when one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and opened fire,(snip)

The deep state wants gang bangers to kill each other and if a few babies get killed, so be it. They figure the dead babies won’t grow up to be gangsters. But let Trump say not to worry about bumping their heads .....

By the way, saying “watch your head” was to protect the cops from being accused of brutality. Had nothing to do with worrying about a knot on the head of a drunk being arrested.

Sad. Not too long ago the shootings were somewhat confined to the south side. The shooting on Hudson is on the near north side. Blocks from Lincoln Park Zoo and Lake Michigan.
