There have been KKKers, Neo-Nazis, etc forever, but they ceased to be a political force quite some time ago. They are a set of impotent and dysfunctional (or even mentally ill) people whose moment of glory is being out with their tiki-torches. But what has made them look more important and given them some gloss of justification (self-defense). is precisely the unopposed violence of their ideological opposites, the BLM and Antifa crowd.

Obama spent eight years whipping up black hostility to and fear of whites, as well as hostility towards law enforcement, and of course the white exploiters of the black resentment movement, such as Occupy, got in on the act too. Many of the Antifa placards in Charlotte had “revcom” printed at the bottom, meaning the Revolutionary Communist Party, a radical group that has been causing trouble for years.

Law and order has got to be restored and applied equally; no more “hands off” when black rabble rousers and white anarchists are out there burning down neighborhoods and beating passers-by. For years the white-power nutcases were pretty tame because they knew they had become sort of a laughing stock, but I think seeing the largely unopposed and even praised violence of the left has made them feel much more justified and has encouraged violence and aggression across the board.

“The intentional vehicular murder of protesters Saturday was an act of domestic terrorism”

Assumes facts not in evidence. Everything else can be disregarded.

All this talk about the RESULT...nothing in the CAUSE. What caused this? The damned Democrats in the Charlottesville city council caused it by voting to remove a statue of Robert E Lee and changing the Confederate name of a park. This CAUSED the problem.

The Democrats erected those statues and named those parks, and now these are a tangible sign of THEIR DIRECT LINK to their support of slavery. So they must eliminate these to revise history to disassociate themselves from their participation in slavery, the KKK, etc. what we are seeing is DEMOCRAT judges and city groups eliminating THEIR links this sordid past.

The Confederate memorabilia are reminders of our our nation's VICTORY over that part of our past. Eliminating them hides the victory. History is TRUTH, revision of history is a LIE!

Q: If that’s so obvious, why didn’t President Trump dwell at length on the racist/supremacist/Nazi flavor of that violence? Is it because he secretly harbors those views, or basks in the welcome support of those who do?

A: Because Trump is not 0bama, and 0bama would run his mouth before the facts are revealed, making everything worse.
Also, the Civil Lawsuits are going to be dropped (Celino&Barnes, injury attorneys, $$$$$what’s your case worth$$$$)
Best to stay above that fray and not be accused of tilting the scales of Justice

The author cannot be bothered to question the premise of the news coverage - no matter how many instances of anti-right bias have been identified in the past.

There are more facts that need discovery, but the author appears to be willing to accept the narrative at face value. That is a failed analysis.

“The intentional vehicular murder of protesters...”

Mr. Davis apparently thinks more than one protestor was “murdered” in Charlottesville.

“The intentional vehicular murder of protesters Saturday was an act of domestic terrorism, seemingly motivated by supremist hate...”

IF this were true then the rest would follow. BUT...

“intentional” This has not been proven. It would be difficult to prove, or even know, unless one had telepathic abilities, and could go back and read the driver's mind at the moment of the incident.

“vehicular murder” Implies a reading of prior intent, which is lacking at the present.

“protestors” As far as I know, only one person was killed.

“motivated by supremist hate” Again, the assumption that the writer knows the driver's thoughts and feelings, which in fact he/she has no way of doing.

This sentence is a prime example of the behavioral/affective twisted thinking of ‘mind-reading’, the assumption that one knows and understands the thoughts and feelings, usually negative, of another, without evidence.

Accepting it as the premise for what follows is a logical fallacy. Let us not fall into the reasoning errors of our enemies.
