Is he some sort of Pete Peters/William Pierce 2017?
Or is that just media labeling him?

Pretty good article but I’m surprised Antifa was not
specifically mentioned, nor was Black Lives Matter.
Yes, the neo-nazis, KKK, and white supremacists are
evil, just about as evil as it gets. But, the
MSM would have the world believe that the so-called
“right wing” hate groups attacked peaceful local,
protesters. In fact, Antifa and BLM were there,
organized, and spoiling for a confrontation. For
those who may not know, Antifa is the far left goon
squad which disrupted those who were legally
protesting the anti conservative speech policies
of UC Berkeley. They also made their nasty mark
in Portland, OR. Of course we can’t expect the
lefty MSM to assign any blame to the hate groups
on the political left.
This is the same media who, when a muslim drives a car into a crowd and kills off a lot of people, keeps saying islam has nothing to do with it and that we must not jump to conclusions.
I do not like those KKK nazi guys but I have some advice: convert to islam and the MSN/politicians will cover for you.
It is a sequence of events but Richard Spencer is a known name today because the Trump administration failed to prosecute the known violent shills in Chicago last year that were paid by the DNC. When corruption is tolerated you get more. When Trump supporters are beaten and bloodied in the street for supporting Trump and they go unpunished and when the few who are prosecuted are hidden away and ignored by the BSM then you not only get more violence but more people fighting back.
And when calling people racist for fighting back ain’t helping. “If this be racism make the most of it!.”
Antifa is the left’s Victory Lap. To show the world Trump may be president but the lefties are still in power. To intimidate with violence anyone who has the audacity to point out they aren’t in power. The fact they continue to escalate their violence unmolested proves they are, in fact, still in power.
The fact is, we have a lot of things that need to be done. Fact is, 0bamacare is just a part of it. Ending corruption is a part. Tax reform is a part. Making the streets safe for Trump supporters is also a part. We have a lot that needs doing and if we can be deterred because we are called names we don’t deserve to win. “If this be racism make the most of it.”
That is an excellent point, and needs to be repeated over and over.
We did not get into the situation where the left has so much power and our freedom is in existential crisis overnight. And we will not get out of it overnight. We elected Trump to be our torchbearer, but he is only one man and can only do so much. It is going to take a lot of hard work to get us out of this mess.

Police let antifa gather without a permit, knowing they planned violence.
Video of the driver in his car show him going at a reasonable speed down a street with a modest crowd, his car being struck by an antifa member with a bat or board. Then the crowd converges around him while more liberal bullies pour in from surrounding streets. A violent mob is surrounding his car. That is how he could hit 20 with his vehicle trying to pull out - because far more than that surrounded him.

And police not only didn’t protect the legitimate protestors, they left them unprotected even as Antifa followed and harassed people leaving the event.
The KKK are scum, racial collectivists. So are the authoritarian liberals embodied in Antifa. It is communists versus nazis again, both of whom are on the left side of the political spectrum.
It is the antifa fascists who started this violence as they did at Evergreen State, Middlebury, Trump’s canceled Chicago rally, Berkley ... it is the liberal bullies who are using violence to shut down speech they don’t like, again and again.

It's not just Media labeling him. Just look into some of his quotes where he disrespects the Declaration of Independence, and things like [emphasis added]:
