How fast do you estimate his speed was at impact?
Free and freezing’s link shows the car hitting people in reverse. Believe this link doesn’t show it. Nathan states that the video doesn’t show what the eyewitnesses said they saw, the car hitting more people when it goes into reverse. So I believe this is one of the videos showing the Challenger not hitting people in reverse. Been watching a lot of videos though to put this together, so not completely sure where I saw what. Did you see how ABC News showed the drivers mom saying she thought he was going to Va. to attend something to do with Trump, and pointing out that driver was a registered Republican? The media would have never mentioned this had he been a registered Democrat and going to a Hillary rally.

I have yet to see anything about what happened to this car before it accelerated into the crowd.
After it was in the midst of the crowd, when people were trying to break into the car with clubs, I think the driver is justified in hitting the gas in reverse and getting out of there. If that crowd had gotten to him, he was dead meat.
But the question is, why did he wind up in the middle of that crowd. If his intent in running into the crowd was to harm the protesters, then any subsequent backing out is also a crime. It is not suddenly self defense when your victim fights back.
But if he had been threatened before he accelerated into the crowd, that puts an entirely different spin on the whole affair. If he reasonably feared for his life before running his car into the crowd, he can argue that he was just trying to get away, and that his actions were not illegal. If his actions that landed him in the middle of the crowd were not illegal, backing out of the crowd to save his life from club wielding thugs was not illegal, either.
So it all comes down to what happened to him before he accelerated into the crowd for the first time.
The final collision, after the collisions with the people in the street is at a fairly low speed, perhaps under 20 mph. I don't have time at the moment to start analyzing videos.

Going forward yes. Most went over the top of the car when hit. One person was pinned against another car in front. Then Antifa started bashing in the car windows with bats from behind and the sides and he backed up and hit the people trying to climb up the back of the car to bash it.
The women killed was trying hit to the car with a bat and was penned between the car and a truck when he backed up.
Why on earth has nothing ever been done to Soros for his terrorist acts! He and all of his so called organizations need to be declared domestic terrorist’s! I don’t understand!

Justified how? Was it self defense? Attacking the back window and side windows of a car with clubs doesn’t achieve any self defense goal I can think of.
But he wasn’t driving under control. If you watch the full video, you can clearly see people running out of his way before his car was hit with a baseball bat. How many other drivers were attacked that day? As far as I know, this was the only one. Why would that be?

Plenty. Antifa attacks cars all the time and the media never, ever reports it. I’ve seen the videos from other incidents.
Something is not right about this whole car incident. Clearly there were at least two vehicles involved. What’s up with the van?
