As usual, the President's assessment was wise, insightful, and correct. The way I heard the story was that someone threw a rock against Field's car. His car was on a street in Charlottesville where cars are supposed to be, not up on the sidewalk. Did he fear the mob was threatening his safety? None of his actions would seem to excuse running over human beings, but it suggests there is more than enough blame to go around. As with all protests recently, the Soros paid anarchists attend these venues to create nothing but chaos.

The LEGALLY permitted protest in Charlottesville was a constitutionally guaranteed right. Their cause and purpose was just and exactly why we have the first amendment. To condemn the protestors because of MEDIA adjectives used to describe them is the nasty politics of it all. Frankly, I’m red of bashing whites because of political correctness.
