this is the same guy who blamed the Chicago riot on Trump, so I don’t take what he is saying seriously. He says whatever he thinks will win him praise from the media.

Your ignorance is showing. Google “grandstanding politician” and/or “how to demagogue a tragedy for political advantage.”

"The Nazis, the KKK, and white supremacists are repulsive and evil, and all of us have a moral obligation to speak out against the lies, bigotry, anti-Semitism, and hatred that they propagate," Cruz said in a statement.
They have a right as Americans to freedom of speech.
What happened at this march will continue to happen when people show up to peacefully counter protest armed with bats, balloons filled with urine and feces, pepper spray, and intent to harm others to shut them up.
Shooting flames at other people is also very helpful when peacefully counter protesting.
I'm sure that you want these people prosecuted for terrorism too...

What happened to all the staunch Ted Cruz for President! advocates? When he first came on the campaign scene, I liked him. He sounded right. I am just glad that he unraveled before he became President. I think that is how the system should work. Thank God for Trump.

I was one, because he’s aggressive, and I regret it now.
He’s still the same old Ted we came to despise last fall.

You have to know the rules. You can beat the crap out of Republicans, but the minute they fight back they need to be executed.
How about we find out what was going on before we decide he is a terrorist. Maybe he was, maybe he was just terrified of getting beat up?

A car driving into a crowd is abhorrent to everyone, but Cruz cannot leave it at that. He has to ratchet up the issue by “cleansing” himself of any possible future accusations of like thinking on his part by enhancing his resume with such declarations. After all, he has a race to win next year.

That is so true. He may even get face time on the Today show, where he can preen some more.

Cruz is simply protecting his cushion in the US Senate with these remarks, one can only imagine what he’d say if he weren’t up for reelection next year.

Cruz behaves himself for a couple of months, and then it’s as if he’s afraid people might warming back up to him. To nip that possibility in the bud, he pulls some BS like this. It’s as if he’s saying, ‘Don’t let me fool you—*this* is what I’m really like.’
Sad.

Let’s get all the unvarnished facts out on what happened and who did it.
Interview all the police, to see why they allowed the violence to fester.
