Lack of fortitude on your part does not justify falsehood. The whole country IS NOT dependent, and using the fear of old people to claim it is, is simply repugnant.
If you’re not actively advocating for a repeal of Medicare and SS (say for people under 45), which has unfunded mandates potentially in the hundreds of trillions, and which will bankrupt the country, you support the welfare state.
