A schoolgirl prank gone gruesomely wrong left an 11-year-old Bronx girl hospitalized with severe facial burns and her rage-filled mom bent on revenge.
Relatives of hospitalized Jamoneisha Merritt called Thursday for arrests in the scalding of the girl at her friends Bronx apartment.
The victims mother Ebony Merritt appeared outside the home of Shernett Panton and her 12-year-old daughter Aniya Grant Stuart, spewing obscenities and threats.
Im going to cut your face, you f---ing b---h! Merritt screamed at Panton. Im going to burn your f---ing house down! You let this happen to my daughter!

That’s because the animal shelter wouldn’t let them be interviewed.
Oh I am sure she would, and I would too.
Thing is you just don’t talk about it. You don’t tell the people you are going to do it to that you are going to do it.
You just do it, and you never speak of it with anyone.
Just no words
I call people with these names “Scrabble.” Too many of them seem to have resulted whenMama dumped out the bag of scrabble tiles and picked 5 or 7 of them, lined them up and said, “that’s nice.”

There are youtube videos trying to promote various dangerous things as pranks and the purveyors consider it victory if someone “falls” for it.

For Jamoneisha, you just have to watch the episode of the Cosby Show with a guest appearance by Stevie Wonder.
I agree. That poor child.

“12 years old. They can do incredibly stupid things.”
Not THAT stupid. A 12 year old would know that at the very least, it would hurt like all hell. I’m sure she would never consider putting her finger into a pot of boiling water.
God's mercy on this girl...

i agree she understands the hurt part but i’m not convinced she grasps the extent. Horribly tragic story.
Its not about knowing theres pain involved. Its about understanding just how serious the injuries are. I have no doubt she sought retaliation but i have no idea if she understood how seriously she would hurt her.
