James Damore, the Google engineer that was fired for writing a memo criticizing the company’s diversity policies, said in a Thursday interview that Google employees publicly criticize people based on race and gender in meetings.
“You can openly shame white people or all men [at Google], and we do this in our company-wide meetings,” Damore said. “There’s definitely a bias toward certain movements.”
During the interview with the Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro, Damore claimed that Google firing him for pushing “harmful gender stereotypes” only revealed the company’s overblown emphasis on diversity, denying allegations that his memo had pushed “harmful gender stereotypes.”
“They’re putting their ideology before truth,” Damore said. “When one side is just trying to guilt you and call you names, and the other is actually using evidence and science, you know which one is actually seeking truth.”
Damore also claimed diversity issues are often exaggerated at Google, citing an instance of a female employee who complained on message boards of not feeling “included” at the company. The woman had posted a question “that had something to do with gender,” Damore said. Her post received 300 votes, only 50 of which were “down votes,” but she nevertheless claimed that one in six people disagreeing with her was enough to make her not feel welcome.
Damore claimed Google’s obsession with diversity is so pervasive that “it may definitely be biasing who they do business with.” He said he only used scientific research in his memo and never claimed that women were biologically worse than men at tech jobs.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai explained Damore’s firing in his own memo, claiming that Damore had pushed “harmful gender stereotypes,” but Damore claims the company is vilifying him. “Since I’ve written it there have been many people that privately message me and say that yeah I support you and yeah this is a real problem,” Damore said.
Americans still have a dim sense of their history, and stupidity like this can’t heap up forever without collapsing of its own weight and weakness.

Like you, I have been pondering this all for decades. Seems to me when you peel the onion enough to get down to it where we lost the struggle was years ago when we accepted the false wisdom of “responsible reproduction” and limited ourselves to “replacement procreation” and only had 2 children per family. While we were being “responsible” the Thrid World was reproducing like rabbits on resources WE sent them as “charity”.
IOW, we lost the struggle decades ago. Had we listened to our God’s instructions from the Bible and reproduced accordingly many of the problems we face would not have happened.
It’s not the sort of demonization that our dear liberals theorize, however. It’s the demonization of presuming they must, must be man-haters.
Simply permitting it to happen and not regarding it as a curse would have helped immensely. It isn’t necessary for every family to look like the Duggars here. The Brady Bunch is quite enough.

When time allows, individuals should be evaluated for who they are, and what their capabilities are. But, when you are making population level decisions, you have to take population characteristics into account, or you waste a lot of effort.
Heck, we have annual mandatory classes regarding ... and this list isn’t all inclusive ... suicide prevention, domestic abuse prevention, sexual harassment and rape prevention (SHARP), violence in the workplace prevention, equal opportunity/anti-discrimination classes, and, recently, classes pertaining to acceptance of transgenders in the military. In addition to the on-site classes, we have required computer training on these and other things that fall into the same general area. Finally, if something piques the interest of Congress or the press (like the Abu Ghraib thing, the Hasan killings, and “the increased numbers of rapes and sexual assaults in the Army”, there are “stand-down” days where we do nothing but attend classes ... most of which outline the ways that whites, in general, and male heterosexuals, specifically, are the root cause of most (if not all) of the problems in the military and in overall society.
Stupidity — that which is inherent in refusing God and calling that brains or intelligence — is most definitely at the root of it all.

It seems that by the hour reality is becoming more and more imperceptible. One really does have to cling to The Cross to keep any semblance of truth. When He told Pilate “I am IT”, He wasn’t kidding.
It gets into tinfoil hat territory but the 4chan kids point out that North Korea is one of the few countries (if not the only) without a central bank. So if you accept that “globalism” is just short for “international banking” could it be that the US is just being manipulated into doing the bidding of these globalists? Add a dash of McMaster and stir vigorously and you can really lose your bearings.

Not to me... I stopped using the world as a gauge of what is “perceptible” a long time ago. The result is that more and more easily I see the living Christ everywhere. And sometimes He is even noticed by the world, and I encourage the world to then see even more.
