The problem with North Korea is that even if Kim wanted to normalize relations, he’d be bumped off in a jiffy. And the people there are so brainwashed. It is going to take outside help to get rid of this regime.

Also, China and South Korea fear above all millions of Nork refugees pouring over their borders if the country plunges into chaos.

I certainly hope whatever the situation is, our intelligence community has a good handle on it.

The North Korean people ain’t pouring south due to the heavily mined DMZ. They’re definitely heading north because those parts of China next to North Korea have sizable populations of ethnic Koreans.
