I think that is a tough situation too. I think if the Norks launch artillery into Seoul, they will launch thousands of rounds in the first 30 seconds. If it takes 10 or 15 minutes to neutralize them, they will do a ton of damage.
No, I say we “save” it from bombing and go retrieve it “when the war is over, an hour and half from now”.
I was at the DMZ about 3 months ago. US TROOPS were there. Was I hallucinating from too much kim che???

“We have a hole in our Seoul!”
Well, but again, South Korea owned part of this issue. It wanted to sit fat and happy. To be an oppan gangnam style. It wasn’t wondering how to help North Korea out of the hole it was in.
Now what went around is poised to come around. I believe South Korea would win and come roaring back, but at the cost of a great tragedy.
Then we need to get on with making neutron bombs.

Despite efforts by the United Nations to impose isolating sanctions on North Korea in response to the countrys continued development of nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles, trade between Russia and North Korea soared more than 85 percent in the first four months of the year.

At the JSA at Panmungon?
Don’t we have artillery that will fire small atomic weapons??
Trump should tell NK if a missle goes past a certain longitude and latitude it is bye bye NK ...and tell the Chinese and Russians our plan so they do not react when NK is gone
Trump might be trying to sweet talk Russia out of that. Russia has been swaggering around recklessly just to prove it’s the tough guy in the world.
Korean TV is very popular here, we have 3 stations (used to have 4—but that one came from L.A. and there was some sort of U.S. contract dispute that shut them down from cable). Most of the “prime time” shows are subtitled into English.
I watch them too, although it’s partly I’ve been learning to speak Korean the last couple of years and that helps. But I find I like a number of them because essentially they are G-rated, sort of like a Korean version of the Hallmark Movie Channel. The heroines are always beautiful, kind and virtuous, and the heroes are manly, loyal and true, etc.
We also often watch both the KBS and SBS nightly news from Seoul (in Korean) and sometimes the Arirang English news program.
If it ends up we suppress NK some way then when we go in I think it will be a horror everywhere but Pyongyang.
Personally, my opinion is that the useful Christian ideal would be to teach them to fish (figuratively) rather than just deliver some fish for 50 more years.
The whole thing smells of a con to me. Too bad our media is unreliable.
Nah, it will take 15. Those sub missiles go all the way into orbit before they come back down at mach 15. The subs targeting Lil Kimcheese are at least 600 miles away just to be able to arc to him.
4 minutes to press the button, then it’s all over within 15 and nothing can stop it.
I was there as a tourist at the joint authority buildings on the USA tour,
The only kind of NK that the US would want to help back up should be a truly religiously free one.
Failure, when?
Yes, that’s the one exception to my previous statement since that is a US forces and UN area.
umm...silos are for missile protection, not boost. All US nuclear forces are solid propellant. For the record...the one Trident submarine that patrols that area as we sit here could completely destroy N Korea in less than 10 minutes. Thats ONE boat....
The Russians have been staging joint war games with the ChiComs since 2005, in obvious preparation for war with us and our allies.
