I was searching and found some new polling data from Alabama where the first round of the Republican primary for US Senate is next Tuesday August 15th.
The top two candidates move onto the second round.
The poll from JMC Analytics and Polling shows Roy Moore now at 30 percent, Luther Strange (appointed Senator supported by Mitch McConnell) at 22 percent and Congressman Mo Brooks at 19 percent.
A previous poll at Strange at 35 percent, Moore at 26 percent and Brooks at 16 percent in a 19 candidate field.
The "Strange Endorsement" of Strange by President Trump has come down in the last 24 hours.
Polls have been wrong for a few years now. I don’t see them suddenly becoming accurate. I believe that Strange will win the primary and general. Trump wouldn’t put his name on that seat otherwise. I think Strange has been on the side winning side. He voted for the skinny bills, a bunch of judges and everything else asked of him. I don’t see RINO with him. Has he voted with Democrats?????
I’ve said this on other threads so forgive if I’m redundant.
I think the RNC told Trump that they may lose the seat if they don’t stay with the incumbent. Trump doesn’t know everything, kinda busy with North Korea and such and I think he just wants to keep our majority.
The things you said about Strange are ditto for Roy Moore, an even stronger conservative.
I always vote the strongest conservative, and most apt to vote that way. If I lived in Alabama, Moore would get my vote. And it’ll send the strongest message to the Rinos and Libertarian types.
Anyone that stands with Jesus is alright in my book. He has a long record of standing up to evil and standing for Justice.
He was involved in the 10 commandments kerfuffle a while back no?
I would be happy with whoever wins the election. Moore was great on 10 commandments but what else has he done. Did he win the 10 commandment fight? I seriously don’t remember.
