Lee Greenwood performed this at the opening night ceremonies of the Boy Scout Jamboree in '89.
It's one thing to hear a recording of it. To see Greenwood perform it live for 35,000 Scouts and Scouters is something that will forever be ingrained into the memory of my youth.
