For those who believe the scientific consensus that human-caused global warming is real, President Trump has already made many nightmares a reality.
So far climate change is a hoax invented by the Chinese isnt the official policy of the U.S. government, but many worry that in addition to implementing policies that undo Americas progress on global warming, the Trump administration will take steps to prevent others from accessing facts about the problem.
Now the feud between the Trump administration and scientists has escalated again with the leak of an unreleased federal study on climate change to the New York Times. The 545-page Climate Science Special Report was drafted by scientists from 13 government agencies, and is part of the congressionally mandated National Climate Assessment, which is issued every four years. The findings are troubling.
The report finds it extremely likely that more than half of the global mean temperature increase since 1951 can be linked to human influence.
The draft has been approved by the National Academy of Sciences, but the 13 government agencies must sign off on the report by Sunday. One government scientist who worked on the report told the Times that he and his colleagues are worried that it will be suppressed.

If you look at records for high and low temperatures I see a preponderance of them being set in the 50s.
This is not an exhaustive statistical study but I don’t care.
I’ve seen days in the low 90s in Houston but the temperature on the freeway was 15 degrees higher.
last summer I saw 135 in the pit on I-45 in Dallas. I was pulling a big gooseneck flatbed and the Dodge was not liking it. No matter how big your radiator is there is not a lot of heat being dispersed when the going it temp is about as high as the going out temp.
Yeah, we know man bear pig global warming is bull. I love the old guy who founded the weather channel debunking climate change. Basic message is follow the money. Global warming gives relevance to irrelevant people. $4 billion in grants and wonderful convention venues. Much like the women’s movement gives otherwise ugly and insignificant women access to the mainstream of society.
If our nuclear testing didn’t significantly affect global temperatures then SUV are unlikely to exceed that.
