The case against the six people began after Massachusetts State Police received an anonymous letter in October 2015 claiming a “corrupt RMV employee” was providing stolen identifications and drivers’ license to people seeking the phony documents.

Dear Massachusetts State Police;

I'm writing this letter because I believe criminal activity is taking place. Illegal acts are being committed by corrupt RMV employees providing stolen identifications and drivers’ license to people seeking the phony documents. This is taking place in the following cities:
