AG Sessions Marijuana Task force: Dont mess with legal weed
Associated Press ^ | Aug 4, 2017

WASHINGTON (AP) — The betting was that law-and-order Attorney General Jeff Sessions would come out against the legalized marijuana industry with guns blazing. But the task force Sessions assembled to find the best legal strategy is giving him no ammunition, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press.

The Task Force on Crime Reduction and Public Safety, a group of prosecutors and federal law enforcement officials, has come up with no new policy recommendations to advance the attorney general’s aggressively anti-marijuana views. The group’s report largely reiterates the current Justice Department policy on marijuana.

‘Even better.’

Glad you see it that way. ;)

All this will work out. The deep state/Swamp is throwing everything, including the kitchen sink, at Trump. But we have his back—and there are millions of us.

Deep state, beware.

Listen to those who have experience with it...it is dangerous.

But don't listen to those who say it isn't.

Yup, those are just your private thoughts. Happily that isn’t at all what the Lord has to say.

Once again you are flapping your lips about a different lord. NOT one place in the whole of the WORD can you site one place wherein God ever sanctioned the usage of mind altering drugs/that would also include alcohol as being acceptable...

You are so far out there as to WHAT God said you might as well be preaching for Satan...

It’s like asking, is a car dangerous?

Most of that is in how you use the car.

You are taking all this very personally, descending into ad hominem.

You are struggling with a 2nd master. I will pray for you.

Of what and does it matter? You have already proclaimed that anyone who disagrees with you is simply wrong.

OK now I see where you are coming from. One of those prohibitionary people who would even alter the bible’s clear testimony about godly (vs. ungodly) uses of wine.

I need not bother any longer with you. Ciao.

How about praying for God to save your own soul first? I don’t want to be pulled into your hell.

Pot is a dangerous drug...and can lead to suicide.

Where is the straw man in that.

I know whereof I speak.

You just spew without care for your fellow man.

If you love the Lord, you will shut your pie hole...and listen to those who have experience in this matter.

Only an extremely weak-minded person would ever claim to have been addicted to pot.

Why not? I support the Constitution and States Rights.

If a State chooses to commit Suicide with the blessing of its Voters, not my problem.

Speaking of Suicide, we have States passing Laws to legalize assisted Suicide. Should they be able to do that?

Same goes with Prostitution. It works in parts of Nevada, but there are people who believe it should be Illegal Nationally.

I’m still trying to figure out why Polygamy and Incestuous Marriage isn’t a newly minted Federal Right since Gay Marriage is fine and dandy now.

You ignore the environment in which this was the case.

Nobody was screaming about “reefer madness” in the 1800s. Ever wonder why?

Don’t throw God out then wail that you can’t control yourself and have to shut yourself and society with you in a rubber room.

Please.

The mere idea that YOU would mix the usage of 'wine' with the potheads and spirits in a bottle tells me you are out there on a limb. The 'wine' is representative of the 'blood' shed for any who would believe... There sure is not one description of anybody smoking/eating a toxic weed that compares... Christ on the Cross refused poor man's liquor for his pain.... The bother is that you are biblically illiterate and are not able to see the BS you are spewing in your 'god's' name.

I once had an FR pothead tell me that God gave all the trees and the plants to us for our enjoyment. When I asked about the Tree of Knowledge, he stfu. It’s sad when the potholes try to use (there’s that word again, “use”) God in their pot ideology. They have no clue that they are trying to make God serve their master. And we all know what Jesus said about those who are conflicted when trying to serve two masters.

Honest bible study shows adultery and murder as no-nos. You’ll search in vain high and low about these modern distracting shibboleths.

Let’s be able to all the pot anyone could want, and yet no abortion. I’d think that would be far saner and more godly. Recklessly intoxicated behavior gets its own punishment — just as in the early colonies there were few if any rules about liquor, but a lot about going around drunk in public, and a person who was habitually drunk got social scorn and exhortations from preachers.

Now I stand here in amusement waiting for the ad hominems (that are wrong) to come at me once more.

Not at all, TigersEye.

I just have experience re: pot addiction.

Not every user becomes addicted, but some do.

I did.

And if you do, it is as addictive as heroin...maybe even more so.

You already lumped them yourself. I don’t need to fall for this mix of ad hominem and strawmen.. and won’t.

Of the dozens of people I’ve know over the decades who have smoked tons of pot I have never known a single one who was addicted, none have committed suicide and most have let the use of it drop with out blinking an eye.

I know whereof I speak.
