HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It's not surprising that Oahu's condos are expensive, but prices are now at an all-time high, a new report says.
According to the report by real estate firm Locations, the median price for a unit in July was $425,000 compared to the $419,500 in April.
Once condo units were on the market, they went quick, lasting an average of 15 days before being sold, according to the report.

A great investment opportunity. Just in time to be annhilated by North Korean nuclear bomb icbm’s.
Apparently China has put Oahu on their ‘do not bomb’ list for Kim.

I have known a few native Hawaiian’s who lived and worked in Massachusetts.
We worked together in restaurant kitchens and I could never understand why they were in New England. They said they were not alone, that many other native Hawaiian’s could not afford to live in their own state.

You can bet it’s the Chinese driving up the prices.
Hmmmmm

They can’t afford it and on the islands they can afford there’s no work. We own property on the Big Island.
It used to be the Japs
I wonder what prices dropped to during late 2008-2009?
Seriously, what the heck happened to Hawaii??
It could not have always been like this. When I knew these guys it was back in the early to mid 1990s.

Should have known I’d find a thread or two on the subject on this web site. Fascinating and really depressing stuff.
Guess they aren’t worried about the NOKO nuclear threat.
There must be confidence in our defense system.
My experience with Oahu....fly in, take the wiki to my next flight, fly out. Lol
Don’t like it there. Too many people. There are affordable places in Hawaii but like I said, no work.
