I recall a GS 13 at Ft. Benning, GA in the DNRI ( Dept. of Non Resident Instruction). The boss was an O-6 and O-4 ( Major) ran things. I was there only 60 days waiting on the IOAC class to start. We were responsible for all Infantry FM’s plus extension course tests for Reserves etc. The GS-13 had been a SSG in the GA NG. He knew zip. He was a ghost.
