Remember how much of a straight shooter (Larence Walsh, Ken Starr, Patrick Fitzgerald, Comey, Mueller) was supposed to be. The truth is I don't know Jeff Session from Adam and he not going to send me memos but not seeing much help from anybody DC related.
He could say "you know what? Now that everyone has seen there is nothing to this I unrecuse myself and am personally taking control of the investigation" - voila done two days of tizzy fit till president does something else to piss of the swampies.

I have worked with Jeff Sessions office for almost ten years as a member of a grassroots immigration group that lobbies on the Hill. I have met many elected officials in this job and before. Sessions is the most principled and honest person I have ever encountered in the political class. His integrity is impeccable. There is a reason why he was reelected last time in Alabama running unopposed. The Dems did not even bother having someone run against him. His constituents know him best.
Sessions is no wimp. He is a fighter. If Trump wants to get rid of him, he must have the courage to fire him. Otherwise, Sessions is going nowhere. And we should all be thankful for that.
This presser was obviously more kabuki theater, which Republicans are expert at, he may get some things done concerning Republican policies, but he will be of ZERO use the President in fending off the corrupt deep state and never-trumpers.
Who, btw, have always had one goal....to separate Trump from his base. Beware of those who post that this is Trump's fault. They are the same ones who counseled the base to drop Palin, Sharon Engle, Todd Akin, etc. Because it was “their fault”.
