Good post glee. Also regarding the Chicago Outfit’s man in Dallas, Ruby, killing LHO......Ruby HAD to whack LHO. He was ordered to by the Chicago outfit. Just a year or so earlier the Outfit re-sent a message to all of those in their ‘employ’ that did not follow their orders or ratted, or was suspected of it, with their beyond horrific 3 day straight torture session and killing of ‘Juice Collector’, Action Jackson. Ruby, and any other Outfit soldier was thus reminded that their fate would be just as brutal if they did not follow Outfit orders. Ruby whacked LHO.....as he was ordered to.
Please refer to links in my Comment #7, especially the last one. After reading all the comments here is a scenario I have come up with. Oswald was really mad at Connolly and probably did the shot on him. Another guy, pro, did the fatal shot on Kennedy. Someone may have known that Oswald was after Connolly and figured that setting up the hit for JFK simultaneously could work. A Halliburton precursor business and LBJ patron owned the Book Repository and got Oswald the job. Someone with the right contacts got the route changed to go past it. Bush there had oil company contacts who may have alerted him to come. As was pointed out a lot of different people and groups had motive and more than one probably cooperated or followed through on their own. Regarding the messiness of the hit, that sounds more like big business than the mafia, although the mafia may have been contracted to take out Oswald and Ruby. Many motives, a number of possible interactions to get the job done. Is the 50 years up yet? I thought certain things were going to be released.
