He’s the ranking member. Notice he didn’t call for a hearing ASAP. This is all deflecting beltway kabuki from Dims. They will block witnesses, testimony, etc. behind closed doors.
They don’t need a detailed investigation. Call in the paper’s Editor and the writer of the story. The information is Classified. There is no Media Shield Law for this type of crime. I would guess the paper’s employees will talk within a few seconds. This is major time. It is not like “contempt” for refusing to provide a source. We would have the culprits by tomorrow morning if anyone actually wanted to do something.

Given the righteous calls from unexpected parties to identify and sack the leaker, I’d guess the leaker has already been identified and sacked. Maybe Priebus.

When has any congressional “investigation” ever resulted in anyone serving time or conclusively proved anything? Louis Lerner, the 30,000 “erased” e-mails, fast and furious, ad infinitum. Darryl Issa, Trey Gowdy, all a bunch of feckless wimps. Is that not why we have a justice department? Wait—the current feckless wimp Sessions mans that. Never mind.
Trump is going on vacation while the “heating and cooling system” of the White House is replaced. The vents are literally crawling with electronic bugs; our own government is tapping Trump, probably a holdover from Obama, who is listening in Kalorama and leaking to the press — probably via Susan Rice, whose classification was extended by McMaster today.
So WAPO probably HAS a pass!!!!
