This is right. Israel also thinks very little of McMaster.

McMaster’s Israel position is a negative but should not be not be conflated with deep state. Mattis is “nominally” a two stater, but not necessarily deep state. In any case Trump is ok with pro- and anti- people in his cabinet even for Israel. Trump is pro-Israel and will make any final decisions.
