Why weren’t the career government staffers and holdovers from the Obama administration given their walking papers on Day One? Tillerson has these rats scurrying down the ratlines and hawsers over at State. A bit of that is happening at EPA (good news today!). Needs to happen in every department.

If you look at Trump’s schedule for today he supposed to meeting McCabe. I’m sure he will find out what is going on.
The very wording suggests that this is McMaster’s own doing, in conflict with Trump. Which is nonsense.
Because Trump now realizes the swamp is way too deep for one man to drain. He has 60,000,000 willing to help but they don’t have the power.
He should be rounding up high ranking military personnel who were purged by Obama. And maybe he has and they don’t want any part of it. Those guys achieved their ranks because they know you don’t attack against overwhelming odds.
We just need to keep asking God to protect Trump and his family and to give Trump the strength and courage to carry on. His will be done.

We elected a President, not Secretaries or Advisors.
Two things are ultimately going to cripple this administration (if it hasn’t already occurred).
1. When you run as a political novice and outsider, you have no natural allies. Trump can forge temporary alliances on some issues, but there is no one truly committed to his success with the possible exception of Bannon, who has no allies himself. Even if Ryan and McConnell and McCain and Flake and Murkowski and Collins vanished tomorrow, they would be replaced by people with no relationship with him and different visions.
2. When you have no natural political allies, it probably makes sense to reward those who were extremely loyal to you personally at any point. Ask Christie and Sessions and Preibus (who shut down every anti-Trump movement at the Convention) and Flynn, and, I guess, Scaramucci how that worked out.
