An ongoing staffing purge being conducted by White House National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster has thrown the West Wing into chaos, according to more than half a dozen Trump administration insiders who told the Washington Free Beacon that McMaster has been targeting long-time Trump loyalists who were clashing with career government staffers and holdovers from the Obama administration.
The purge is part of a larger drama unfolding inside the administration, between veteran Trump staffers committed to the president's campaign vision of "draining the swamp" in Washington and entrenched bureaucracies seeking to maintain control over policy decision-making, according to these sources, who said that many of these actions against his supporters are being conducted without Trump's knowledge.

Agree. Thing is, most conservatives knew exactly what was required to get rid of the opposition and make the government work somewhat smoothly, even in the face of "the resistance." You have to wonder why he hasn't ruthlessly controlled the executive branch.
My exact sentiment and astonishment since day one;The stark difference of campaign rhetoric and reality: The Obama third term,Clinton as VP and GOP as the opposition party to MAGA.
To not clean house (drain swamp)and prosecute traitors is insane. The administration is running on less than full cylinders and stuck in the swamp.
The left is buying time so it can strike like a viper. When they get power back, their revenge will be extreme.
It seems this administration does not have the fire in the belly. I hope my cynicism and glass half empty is way off base. Year one of MAGA is soon to be complete. I see the score tied even with our majority and give a grade of B-.
And a daily top-to-bottom sweep for bugs using the best tech available.
You are one of the few who get that word right. So many shorten it to "Obamists" which is night and day from ObamUnist.
“You’re fired”! is what Trump should tell McMaster. Sooner than later.
It never made sense to me to put Bannon on the National Security Council back when President Trump originally thought about doing so.
Because they know that they should be, and that they are doing things that deserve firing, and that they would do the firing if the shoes were on the other foot. It's a subconscious admission of guilt.
Trump needs to go on the warpath against him and the rest of the swamp.
