I don’t think the establishment cares what the people think. Or possibly they haven’t thought that far ahead, the repercussions of an open coup on a duly elected US president.
You are right if this succeeds, what is the point of voting in any election. If this succeeds I would think tar and feathering could be back in vogue and that would be on the milder end of possible citizen retaliation if they decide to do so. The US congress and government have decided the people don’t matter anymore.

I have decided that the Fake Congress is unworthy of any respect. I refuse to use any title they think they deserve. We need to start turning our backs on them in town halls, stop contacting them and work to elect new candidates that are beholden to the people only.
