Won’t they need a grand jury? Are they just going to cuff trump? Or go to the house for impeachment articles? Presuming they don’t pull something more drastic

This is a PREEMPTIVE STRIKE AGAINST TRUMP by the Deep State in an attempt to try and prevent Team Trump from prosecuting Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein, Hillary, Lynch, Huma, Cheryl Mills, Susan Rice, DWS and the Awans, Bryan Pagliano, etc. for their high crimes against America.

"What you are going to have is the potential for a powerful obstruction case," a senior law enforcement official said. "You are going to have the [former] FBI director testify, and then the acting director, the chief of staff to the FBI director, the FBI's general counsel, and then others, one right after another. This has never been the word of Trump against what [James Comey] has had to say. This is more like the Federal Bureau of Investigation versus Donald Trump."

Deputy [now Acting] Director = Andrew McCabe

Chief of Staff = Jim Rybicki [FBI Chief of Staff/Senior Counselor]

Rybicki Reportedly Told Comey That He Doesn't Fully Trust Jeff Sessions

General Counsel = James Baker

Names McCabe, Rybicki, and Baker as Comey confidantes

All four of them had reservations about doing so because they did not fully trust Attorney General Jeff Sessions -- and because the events were unprecedented in their experience.

This group is Comey's inner circle, and is dirty. The FBI is dirty.

into whether President Donald Trump engaged in obstruction of justice

Assuming all this is true, it's no longer about Russia.
If there is no "there" there regarding Russia, why would there be obstruction of justice ?
Somebody is going to get "Libby'd"

I’d take this with a grain of salt. Not being reported in the MSM anywhere and Comey already gave a very long testimony to congress.

While I have not taken the time to research the idea, my thought is that once any of this gets into a Court, the most effective response might be to seek a Writ of Prohibition in the Supreme Court, based on the manifest irregularities in the investigation. I wonder what others might think of the idea, before I go further with it.

Given how compromised the reputation of the FBI is at this point (thanks largely to Mr. Comey’s mishandling of the Clinton email investigation (in collusion with McCabe)and the bungled Russia investigation), the FBI against Trump in an investigation lead by Mueller may not be enough.

By the way, I am not a Trump Kool-aid drinker. I don’t like Mr. Trump. I still think he is unqualified by either experience or temperament to be President. I voted for him because that was the only way to effectively vote against Clinton. (Didn’t matter, I live in Virginia.). I resent both the GOP and Democratic Party for having such poor control over the selection of their candidates that they put me and the American people in the position of choosing between these two.

I just hate smarmy SOB weasels (like Comey) more.

For far to long these people, Mueller, Comey, Clintons, Obamas, Lynch, Huma, Schumer, Piglosi, Di-Fi, McCain, Ms. Linda, and the whole group have had their way and now is the time we shut them down...

They have all been working for a New World Order, Globalism, Sharia Law, open borders, one big happy family: THEIR WAY...not the American Way...

WE, millions of us went to the polls in November and voted for the person to help us AMERICANS to bring back OUR country, and that is what Our President is doing...working 20 hours a day trying to get jobs back, to get our economy running again, to help Our Veterans receive help that they incurred while fighting for OUR FREEDOMS...and this mess of idiots want their own pockets lined and to hell with us, there was no ‘middle class’ until Our President took over...there were no jobs for us until Our President took over...Our Law Enforcement was dirt in the gutters until Our President took over...

I think it's time folks to rid OUR COUNTRY of snakes, crooks, liars and thieves and support Our President by the ballot boxes, by standing up to anyone who is not behind the agenda of MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!

I for one of many millions of people worked long and hard, many, many hours to promote this man to lead Our Country and I don't intend on letting some ‘hog monster’ take that away from me, my family, my grandchildren, and as many breaths I have left in me, by the Good Lord Above I will fight to the bitter end!!!

“Trump broke the law by trying to thwart the FBI’s Russia investigation “

Rediculos. The FBI, Senate and House investigations haven’t been “thwarted ,” they’re proceeding along just fine, asshole.

All of this sucks the life out of this Administration and ultimately the country all by design. I agree with the assessment that they are playing the get Nixon playbook. They are so delusional that I think they think President Trump will eventually resign. How it all got to this is depressing: The left plays to win at all costs and games the system and our side acts pacified. If this were Chess,I would be worried.

Cormey made clear in his testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, the investigation was a counterintelligence investigation, not a criminal investigation.

Rosenstein's authorization to Mueller quotes Comey, "The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confirmed by then-FBI Director James B. Corney in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017..." https://www.justice.gov/opa/press-release/file/967231/download

28 CFR 600.1 governs special-counsel appointments by the Justice Department. The relevant part: The Attorney General, or in cases in which the Attorney General is recused, the Acting Attorney General, will appoint a Special Counsel when he or she determines that criminal investigation of a person or matter is warranted (emphasis added)

A special counsel is not to be appointed unless and until it is determined that there are grounds for a criminal investigation. Only if that is established does the Justice Department move on to the question whether there is a conflict of interest which requires appointment of a special council.

So - Rosenstein's appointment of Mueller was and is improper.

Also noteworthy is 28 CFR 45.2, titled, “Disqualification arising from personal or political relationship.” The relevant part states: No employee shall participate in a criminal investigation or prosecution if he has a personal or political relationship with: (1) Any person or organization substantially involved in the conduct that is the subject of the investigation or prosecution... (emphasis added).

Sessions need not have recused himself, there was no criminal investigation.

Anyone who isn’t expecting articles of impeachment over this manufactured crisis has their head in the sand.
They are going to take our President away because...well, because they can.

This has carefully planned and coordinated.

Recall that Rosenstein recommended Comey be fired. Recall also that Comey testified that his intention was to leak so that a special council would be created.

The Russia Narrative was losing steam and they needed to create an ongoing aura of wrongdoing. Comey could not appoint a special council, Rosenstein could. Getting Comey fired would feed the “obstruction” sub-narrative of the Russia Narrative and would create the optics needed to bull through the appointment of a special council.

It worked.

Rosenstein picked Mueller, with whom Comey has coordinated his Congressional testimony.

The history of these three together*, the blatant collusion of Mueller and Comey, the improper appointment of a special council, Mueller’s investigation of things far outside the scope of Rosenstein’s improperly created special council, Mueller staffing up with Democrat bundlers and Clinton Foundation lawyers....

This is disgusting. Mueller and Rosenstein have ZERO credibility.

Two senior federal law enforcement officials have told me that the new revelations illustrate why they believe the potential case against Trump is stronger than outsiders have thought.

The miles of hemp rope that we're preparing is stronger than Swamp insiders have thought... 😀

I don’t know why Mueller got to meet with Comey before his testimony without having someone from Justice to sit in on it or without a transcript. Trump should have ordered that. Even if you accept that they can have a special counsel on a non-existent crime, which I don’t, that doesn’t mean the President doesn’t get to tell them not to preserve evidence.
