The Qatari government, finally feeling the heat for its sponsorship of Islamist terrorism and extremism, is deploying an army of lobbyists to move U.S. policy to its side (and, therefore, the Muslim Brotherhood’s side). The recent hires include a firm with strong ties to President Donald Trump’s circle.

Qatar hired six lobbying firms in Washington D.C and will reportedly spend at least $1.7 million per week.

since Obama released most of his IslamoNazi terrorist bff’s, there’s plenty of room in Guantanamo now for traitors like these?

I thought Trump was banning ex-officials from getting hired by lobbying groups, for years?

Which I say “good” to.

Was I wrong?

“Was I wrong?”

no.

none of these guys ever actually worked for the government.

not to mention the article is total bullshit anyway; they mention lewandowski, but deliberately fail to also mention he quit avenue strategies in May BECAUSE they were taking foreign clients.

They are buying everyone and that’s why nothing gets done .
That’s why Trump can’t stop muslim immigration and the muslim are held to a different standard than everyone else.

It’s why we can not the jizah tax that is Obamacare.
Muslims get it free but everyone else has to pay the tax.
It’s sharia operating as healthcare.
Republicans are on their payroll too and that’s why they don’t want to repeal it .

We have been sold out .
You can blame Americas hireling pastors for not speaking up and standing against islam.
Islam is demonic .

If they were part of the administration, they’d be banned for life from lobbying for a foreign government.

Well...unless they were dealing with the Clinton Foundation, which isn’t really a lobby group but functions more or less like one.

On Qatar’s behalf...they basically are standing there with Saudi Arabia and Egypt against them, and Iraq and Syria in a negative view of Qater’s history. On the for-side, it’s just Turkey and Iran. So, Qatar really needs either the EU or the US to be the big-brother and ensure their long term survival.

Based on comments about money being spent, I’d have doubt that they have the money to survive more than two years of this ‘game’. If you look at Turkey....they’ve got issues and won’t be helping that much economically.

Can this guideline really be enforced? The “right to work” is a very fundamental right.

The right to work for a for a foreign employer, however, is not. Neither is the right to work for your present employer’s competitors, if there’s a non-competition agreement.

Agreed. Especially about the “right to work for your present employer’s competitors, if there’s a non-competition agreement” part.

In the case of the White House & federal government there really is no competitor (for most responsibilities) as they have a monopoly on certain enumerated services for the territories, the residents/resources on those territories, and the citizens.

Where the point is valid is regarding National Security matters. So yes there needs to be some limits, even on the “right to work”. However in the grand scheme of things this should be a very small problem. That presumes of course that the federal government is staying well within the very limited bounds of its enumerated powers. Unfortunately though we’ve seen how the branches of the federal government routinely violate Amendment X and many other provisions of the US Constitution. For that I blame Amendment XVII as until its ratification the governments of the States were able to enforce federalism. But now that’s simply not possible. Article V shows us that all powers for ensuring proper checks/balances are in the hands of Congress. As a result the power hungry people of the world work super hard to try to control that institution & the freedoms/rights of the American people be da**ed :(
