I popped over to his place late AM before he left for work and visited him and the dogs for a bit.
On my way home I stopped off at this great Mom and Pop cafe I've been going to for awhile and brought one of their French dip sandwiches home. Delicious, tender roast beef smothered in onions and mushrooms on a hoagie bun with their home-made fries, delicious!
Just been hanging with the A/C since.
We have some forest fire smoke that blew down from Canada that surrounds the valley here. When I woke up this morning and the sun was just over the tree line, the sun appeared as a big red, flaming ball that you could look directly at through the smoke haze; as it got higher it went dark orange and then broke through yellow and warmed up. Very beautiful.
Did the puppy out on a show for y’all while you were there? LOL! Or was it already too hot for him to go outside to run around the yard?
Yuck on the smoke from the forest fire. Makes for pretty sunrises and sunsets but not good for anything else. It sux there are so many fires on that side of the country and in Canada this year. :-(
Not much going on here. Took Armand to the vet for an overnight stay. He’ll have his bad tooth/teeth pulled first thing tomorrow morning.
Now just sitting here watching “Salvation” on tv. It’s turned out to be a pretty cool show.
