Mrs. Palin diminished herself immeasurably and permanently with a sizable number of FReepers (and others) in 2008 when she repeatedly portrayed McCain as a glorious war hero -- while many of us and his military comrades knew it wasn't true.

For years, I've overlooked her eagerness to please the Republican Party faithful by giving that fateful McCain praise during her Vice President nomination acceptance speech -- because of her other positive qualities and my desire for her to run for President one day.

That speech was a hoax it seems. Trusting in McCain and his people ruined Sarah Palin and badly injured her family as a side effect. McCain has negatively impacted (brought harm to) this Nation and the American people before 2008 and since then.

So she should have bad-mouthed and put down the person she was running for vice-president with? Or not run at all with him?

Like many people, we voted for Sarah, not McCain.

I don't think it ruined Sarah, she has far too much politeness and kindness though to uncut her running mate.

Even though that never stopped his people.

Sarah did what she felt was right and should have been done.

As we see with President Trump, you have to fight the other team and the referees.
