And insulin, The watered down “Vet approved” pet insulin is $50 bucks for a U-40 bottle. The U-40 syringes and pet insulin can only be purchased through a vet or online from a vet supply. But the insulin has a temp issue when being shipped so it’s not a good idea to buy it that way.

U-100 Human Novolin N (which absolutely requires U-100 syringes)is 2.5 times more concentrated and only costs $25 bucks at walmart. So for $25 bucks it replaces the need for 2.5 bottles of the pet insulin worth $125 bucks.

And yes Novolin N is completely safe for use on pets, but please look it up for yourself. You just want to start with a 20% less unit dose then adjust up to good levels. Yep it’s a scam...

Many vets will write a script that you can fill at your pharmacy.

If I needed a sensitive thing like insulin it’s what I’d go for.
