Just like babies getting some unnecessary shots, (Hep, etc) as well as the number given at once..there are times pets may not need certain shots. In her last year’s our dog didn’t get much...she was in our yard, in the house (mostly) or on a tight leash, too...not running around.

That’s just wonderful.

If their unvaccinated pet should bite someone, even playfully, it will be put down and tested for rabies.

That is the law, everywhere.

Otherwise, if they don’t care if their pets die from something preventable, then it really isn’t a danger to other pets as long as the owners keep them in the house.

This isn’t quite like idiot parents who refuse to vaccinate their own children, who are then a danger both to any infant too young to vaccinate, and to people who have compromised immune systems.

While I have not seen every American vet (obviously), I have yet to see one properly administer inoculations.

Not one ever asks if the animal has been sick or had a fever in the last 30 days, whether the dog has had any other shots in the last 30 days, or holds the animal under supervision for the required time after the shot (can be several hours).

The only question ever asked is “will that be cash or charge”.

I am persistently amazed at how the pro-vax crowd here can clearly the corruption in both big business and government, but vaccine companies remain some type of sacred cow that can do no wrong. Pump babies and animals full of product ... it's not like they can complain, right? And when they come down with Guillain-Barré syndrome ... well that's just coincidence. Correlation is not causation, etc, etc. It's a billion dollar industry with a captive audience ... folks need to understand that and recognize how absolute power corrupts absolutely before they can fix it.
