In the latest chapter in the ongoing crusade against manmade global warming, alarmists have blamed climate change for the creation of “ghost forests” along the U.S. Atlantic seaboard.
“I think ghost forests are the most obvious indicator of climate change anywhere on the Eastern coast of the U.S.,” said Matthew Kirwan, a professor at Virginia Institute of Marine Science who studies ghost forests. “It was dry, usable land 50 years ago; now it’s marshes with dead stumps and dead trees.”
Although the process has “occurred naturally for thousands of years,” some say it has accelerated in recent decades due to polar ice melts and rising sea levels, which would push salt water further inland, killing trees in the process.
In past months, “global warming” has been blamed for everything from the death of migratory songbirds to the decimation of herds of reindeer to a slump in South American coffee production to a drop in the population of Hawaiian monk seals and even — remarkably — to colder winters.

According to an AP report, “scientists agree the startling sight of dead trees in once-healthy areas is an easy-to-grasp example of the consequences of climate change.”

It is for our own good that THEY simply show us images of the melting ice caps, polar bears stranded, or the 'ghost forest'.

The problem is that now places like facebook is where everybody posts these articles, and then people like me come along and politely eviscerate them.
It’s having an impact. Stuff like facebook is crushing the left because, well, their facts don’t hold up to actual intellectual scrutiny. And everybody is noticing.
How many of the potentially hundreds of unknown variables in their equations have they evaluated so far?
Salt water intrusion caused by increased pumping of ground water. Also, extracting water causes ground to lose volume and shrink, allowing ocean to move inland.

I could just as easy blame globalization for bringing in pests like the emerald ash borer and the Asian longhorned beetle to eat our forests. Try to find a healthy ash tree left in Ohio.

The pine forest I live in is at an elevation of 387 feet. The beach is 100 miles from here. Sea water is not expected here anytime soon :)
There is No Global Warming, not in the past, not now, not in the Future.
No Climate change, no Global Warming, No Carbon Foot prints, nothing at all is caused by man on earth.
