It seems safe to say that Senator Jeff Flakes new anti-Trump book is politically contraindicated. His approval ratings in his home state, Arizona, are so low they are somewhere down in a missile silo; according to Politico, the president has privately said he would spend $10 million in the Republican primary to whisk Flake out of the Senate with a broom.
Then again, maybe this is what a man whos facing political expiration does: speaks his mind, goes for broke. Or perhaps hes simply fed up. Flake was one of the few Never Trumpers in Congress to remain so right through Election Day.

His vendetta against Trump is really strange. Romneys hatred of Trump is equally strange.
The good people of the Great State of Arizona might want to use special care in the selection of their next two senators.
Doesn't seem strange to me. He's trying to sell a book.
There is a lot of anti-Flake noise building in AZ, and he is getting fearful and trying to deflect. Loser that he is.
It’s simple: the Mormon Mafia is 100% against Trump. Flake is their stooge. The traitorous LDS has a powerful grip over GOP politics in Arizona. They have shown it in everything from Flake to opposition to SB1070, to forcing out Sen. Russell Pearce, to (Mormon Republican) Judge Murray Snow’s jihad against Sheriff Joe, to stalwart support of McCain, who supports their rabid open-borders demands. The Mormon Mafia must be purged from AZ GOP politics ASAP.
To what end? To get crossover Dems to vote for him in the Republican primary.
Duh.
NYTimes is stupid propaganda.
He is also a phony and a flake.
Now that McCain looks like he will have to resign soon this Flake character wants his back stabbing spot in the Senate. We need to help get rid of his sorry ass in 2018.
Can the people of Arizona, do something right, for once and get rid of this individual.
It’s because he turned out to be just another who said one thing to get elected and then promptly did the opposite as soon as he got to DC
Flake is McStain’s miniMe.
>>Doesn’t seem strange to me. He’s trying to sell a book. <<
If Arizona has an open primary, it seems to me that he might be making a play for Democrat votes.
Jeff Flake is a snarky backstabbing RINO of the worst kind. Did you know his office in Arizona is literally next door to McLiar’s office? That tells you everything you need to know about Flake.
If it weren’t for dumb@ss senior citizens and the Mormon Mafia, Flake would not be a senator.
We have GOT to get rid of this POS in the 2018 primaries.
self-interest, he’s a flaming icehole
There are two others in the Mormon Mafia that need to go and they are up for re-election this coming year. Urine Hatch (UT) and Dean Heller (NV). MY wife grew up in Las Vegas. There’s a time worn saying about Las Vegas” The Jews Own it and the Mormons Run It. Strange as it may seem, Las Vegas was originally a Mormon “settlement” when they had ideas about “Deseret” being more than just Utah
The main reason we get RINOs like Flake, Graham, etc. is open primaries. We have same problem in VA.
State GOP conservatives need to change the rules to drain the swamp of RINOs.
You're preaching to the choir. It isn't freepers who don't want to get rid of trash like mccain and flake; it the low info masses who listen to the MSM and are as politically aware as a donut.
That's like asking the country in 2012; can you American's wake up and get rid of obummer?
Well, in fairness, I think we did but the election was rigged through the computers. I thought it then and I still do. I don't believe he won. All the polls indicated a Romney win right up until a the week before the election. Now we know not to trust polls but these were their polls indicating an obummer loss. Chances are good he did lose but the MSM being the dem lap dogs they are; went along with the fake new polls showing an obongo win and they figured out a way to change enough voting machines in key states to make it happen. The death and destruction that happened as a result is a matter of history now and continues to this day.
