There is chatter within the White House that Kellyanne Conway is being looked at as the next communications director, a source within the White House told The Daily Caller.
Anthony Scaramucci was ousted Monday as communications director following a week of publicly feuding with former chief of staff Reince Priebus. Scaramucci called Priebus a “paranoid schizophrenic” in an interview President Trump viewed as inappropriate, according to White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

I’ve also been waiting for Trump to bring Pierson back on board. I liked Sean, but he’s gone now. Katrina could do that job while turning cartwheels and blowing bubbles.
Does anyone know for sure if many of these unnamed sources are not actually Trumps people putting out misinformation or bait rumors for the media for whatever their purpose might be at the time? Stuff gets floated all the time. Sometimes for distractions, to deceive, sometimes to glean information from the feed back etc.
Priebus and/or Spicer upping the anti-Trump leaks? If current advisers, they are pretty brazen in leaking damage despite Kelly’s new role.
Katrina is good but Huckabee handles the press briefings very well. `keep her there!!!!
Yes, I wonder if this is part of Kelly trying to pare down the senior advisers with direct access to Trump. My understanding is that Conway had turned down such a position at the start of the admin, wanting to have a more senior portfolio. Truth be told, I don’t see her as having been a positive influence in getting Trump to have a more effective messaging approach, given that with her polling and campaign manager background one would have thought that to have been part of her portfolio.
I find her unattractive, unpleasant to want. Her mannerisms bother me as well. Does not belong in front of a camera.
Sarah is smart, classy and well spoken. I think she is A-OK.
That team is exactly what the President needs to keep the hyenas at bay.
TOTALLY DISAGREE.....Sarah Huckabee Sanders may not win any beauty contests,....which is part of why she is so effective, she is a great representative of all of us common people who just wish someone would put the SHUT UP to the professional spin-meisters.....she does a great job of putting all of them in their place, real fast.....
She’s totally loyal to the President & real good at what she does, .....just like Kellyanne Conway.
I think Newt Gingrich needs to be brought on board to help manage the gap between the White House, the Congress, and the Press...

Yes, I read it. I think you’ve been watching too much fake news and believing it.
The fake news tried to create the narrative that Kellyanne Conway is a loose cannon, a gaffe-prone train wreck, when really she’s a super effective spokesperson for Trump, who completely devastates the MSM every time.
The so called “alternate facts gaffe” is part of that fake news narrative but it’s a nothing burger - nobody cares that she said “alternate facts”. It was a lame attempt by the left to make it look like Conway is a trainwreck but it didn’t work.
Kellyanne Conway has nothing to overcome.
By calling it “unfortunate”, and using their word gaffe, and worrying about whether she can overcome it, you are buying into their fake news narrative.
Don’t believe she has some unfortunate gaffe she needs to “overcome”, just because the MSM says so.
