Inside Mooch's firing
Axios ^ | July 31, 2017 | Jonathan Swan

Jared and Ivanka brought in Scaramucci as an instrument of destruction against Reince Priebus, according to multiple sources. He was used as a tool to end Priebus' tenure in the corner office. A third administration source said Jared and Ivanka have been fully supportive of the general and will follow his lead. They were irritated by Scaramucci's comments to The New Yorker, but from their perspective he served his primary purpose: destroying Reince.

Bannon never stopped agitating to get rid of Mooch. A source close to Bannon says he has a good relationship with Kelly, although we can't confirm whether Bannon had actually spoke to Kelly about getting rid of Scaramucci.

For those who complain about Axios, I maintain that Jonathan Swan has a close connection to the White House. I'm guessing it's Bannon.

Why would Trump need Mooch to get rid of Rience?

“Why would Trump need Mooch to get rid of Rience?”

He really didn’t. A reasonable argument could be made that Trump may not have won the general election without the efforts of Priebus, Spicer and the RNC.

It’s not uncommon for a business or organization to bring in a hatchet man to do the dirty work. I’m just speculating here.

I don’t see where Trump admin would tell Axios anything...a source? Come on ...more anonymous sources...

They should stick to antiperspirant sprays for millennials.

Mooch could have been a good advisor or assistant in some ways but obviously a job representing the administration through public speaking was a ... horrible mis-match

Swan was the first to report that Bannon was proposing a 44% tax rate on individuals who earn more than $5 million/yr.

He also was among the first who had an advance copy of Trump’s Warsaw speech.

He also has journalistic creds. Look it up if you don’t believe me.

Rience resigned. He didn’t want to be around Mooch. Trump didn’t have to be the bad guy. It worked.

It’s a bit obvious isn’t it? Smile. No one who remains has blood on their hands. Even Spicer has an opening to return without getting his hands dirty.

In order to not burn bridges. Also Kelly didn’t need to start out by firing everyone

Scaramucci will be remembered as the potty mouthed, gullible hitman. He takes out Spicer and Priebus and then gets bumped off himself by the new Irish cop who made his bones first day on the job.

I do not know when Colbert spews .. Mooch is already potty language history, most Americans do not even know who he is.. After Podesta’s weekend rant over protecting Mueller, I suspect Colbert will follow suit..

Yeah, I was a bit concerned that the mooch was gonna turn his sabre on the Eminence Grise, Mr. Bannon so this is perfect. A Reince Seeking Missile.

I don’t like the source.
But this is pretty straightforward.

Priebus was sandbagged by the very RINOs he was supposed to be a bridge to and had to go for no fault of his own.
The RINOs NEVER compromise, never.
So Priebus was useless, helpless, and in the way.

Not Trump’s fault, not Priebus’ fault... the Establishment’s fault.

Bannon’s proposal to increase taxes on high earners was DOA. It’s not gonna happen.

Nonetheless that he made the proposal has not been denied and virtually every news source is reporting it.
